I can (probably, paypal didn't like my credit card in the past) pay by credit card or direct deposit immediately. I don't need the rubbers glued to the bat as I can do this myself. Is it possible to get the order sent today so it might get here tomorrow?

BTW I have tried contacting the store on skype and I get no response.

Also, is the Express Post Platinum service gaurenteed next business day delivery? Where as just Express post is not?

I don't think platinum is any faster, just included insurance. In SA parels need to be sent before 4pm (local time) to have next day delivery. next day delivery only applies for the metropolitan areas.

Payment via paypal account would be immediate... paypal has been a pain lately and rejects a lot of cards, which is probably what happened to you... Bank deposit sould be immediate, but does not always show up immediately in our account.

I don't run the shop, but your best bet would be to Email the shop, mark it urgent, and ask if it can be sent today...
