Hi Alex

Luna informed me that my last order was mailed out on 10 June. In the past all my orders came very promptly, but it is now 19 June and still no sign of the package. Is it possible to follow up with Australian Post? It was just regular mail so I don't know whether they track it.

If its sent out by regular mail and not registered. It wont get scanned or tracked.

Usually takes 3-5 days depending where you live. Canberra is a major city so it should of arrived early. Plus this time of the year we arent so busy...

Depending on the size of the package it gets delivered by the postie or a contractor. If your not home, than they would of carded it and for you too pick up the item at the Post Office.

You can try ring up your local post office next to you and ask them that your expecting a parcel but have not received it. Maybe its was carded to the wrong address?

damn...hope it's not lost in the ether.
Generally domestic post is very reliable in Australia...never had mail disappear before.
Hopefully it's just been delayed. I'll see if I can drop by the post office some time...

Yes there is a good chance it's sitting at the post office, and the little card somehow got missed. Otherwise Email Luna and she can look into it... You're right, AU Post is normally very reliable...

I think Oz post must of missort it and went to another delivery centre.

Haha, pk. Just to let you know that parcels for canberra are pretty much sorted straight away but are dispatched in the early hours of the morning. However guys living out in the country like, murray region, riverina region, mid north coast, broken hill arent a priority and are processed much later.

I came home and everything was waiting for me...love the smell of new rubber!

By the way, I think you are right about it being misrouted at first...and I think I know why.

I live in the suburb of Weston in Canberra.

The third address line reads:

Weston Australian Capital

and then the last line reads:

Territory.

When I first read it, even I thought, for a second, it read "Western Australia"!!

Hmmm that does sound a little confusing... I wonder where that came from? Luna's normally prints the address directly from the info entered in the shop, but she may have interpret it wrongly, and it's not hard to see why

Yeah, but it is usually sorted by postcode, as that is what we a try to spot first before the suburb.
But I can see how Weston Australian Capitol Territory, and the second digit being a 6 (postcode for WA) can be mis-interpreted and sent to WA first.

I always get either registered or express, as I have that piece of mind for parcels to arrive safely, and if anything goes wrong you can claim it with the post.

OOAK is delivering goods by normal mail, as was informed. To oversea such as South East Asia. Frankly, I am quite concerned abt my recent order. Currier service would be more reliable to us.
