Just a reminder, the popular, 4-star Badger Open is coming up in just a month! The standard entry cut-off is in just two weeks, so be sure to get your entry forms in before the deadline to avoid the extra fees for late entry. It's grown every year, and again this year we will be using all Butterfly equipment. It's held at a great venue, and we attract a wide range of players. I hope to see you all here!

sounds great. I don't start my first event till either noon or 2. so I'll need a good warmup. Especially against some pips:) Let me know if anyone else from here comes so we can all meet. Maybe we can all have a drink or something saturday night.

You playing both days, or just one? I've got three events on Saturday and two on Sunday. Plus, when I'm not playing I will probably be doing some umpiring. It's always a really fun time! :)

Next time I'm there I'll ask around. I appreciate you asking me, but I entered a singles event at the same time, I think it might be U-2200.

That's what I'm hoping for too. That day I'm playing Over-40 and U-2200. Saturday I'm in U-1900, U-2000 and U-2300. Who knows, maybe we'll play!

Yeah probably I'm playing 2000, 1800, 2200 and another event... Not sure if it's 2300 . The only event I have a chance in though is 1800 and maybe I'll get past the rr in 2000.
So we have 3 chances to possibly play and with the spread in our ratings mine 1779 it's pretty likely. If not we should have a couple chances to just hit over the weekend. Looking forward to this tournament :)

Couldn't think of a better way to spend my weekend other than taking my kid to disneyworld or some trip I can't afford

Cool, it would be a lot of fun if we did play! It's coming up fast, I really need to train hard for the next two weeks since I'm rusty from not having played much this summer. I plan on playing this Saturday and then next week Wednesday, Friday and Saturday to get my game into shape. I'm back to trying to hit more with my pips, I think I'd become too passive and it hurt my game. I'm also working on improving my footwork to use my forehand more.

I don't play more than once every couple of weeks cause I got a new kid coming plus a new job and I'm studying alot for two masters degrees so I'm not sure how much of a fight I'll be. Got a new sheet of tenergy so looping will be easier than with the Chinese stuff... We also have to see what backhand I bring... I'll have options depending . If we don't get to play let's try to get in a game or two for the forum:)
