I just noticed that this years Mornington Vets was held last Sunday. Foam, Reb, Blue, etc. - did anyone play? If so, how did you fare? Do you know who won any events?

I couldn't play, but my teammate E did. He made it to the semi's of div 2 and did ok in some of the doubles with Shane O I think.

Foam didn't go, as he's away on holidays. Not sure about Blue. Najay played cos he said he won the div 3 doubles.

I did not want to take part in Vet tournaments after the complete failure at Albert Park. However, I managed to improve my game lately, and because of this improvement, I decided to enter the Mornington Vet tournament. As I expected, I had some success. I won the Division 3 doubles with Ken J and progressed to the stage of semi-final of the singles in the same division.

You know what? The President of our club was there too. I saw him winning some matches. However, he was beaten by a couple of people, so he did not make any final.

Well done on your success Najay.

I didn't know your president played in vets events. I wonder who he lost to. I heard not many strong players went to mornington so I would have thought he could have done well as a result.
