The 2012 Coburg Club Championships are being held tomorrow. It's quite a big event which usually attracts at least 60 players.
Spectators welcome.

Top seeds for the Mens Singles: 1- BB; 2-C Carter; 3-Michael Huang; 4-BP.

Craig Carter won the 2012 Coburg Club Championships beating BP 4-1 in the final. It was a big day with over 50 players contesting the Open Singles alone. More results can be found at:

Thanks carbonman!

That's a good turnout, 50+ for the open single! :o

Wish I knew a few more of those players. :( Did you and Phil play as well?

He thanks Bruce at the end... is that Bruce Carter?

Yes, Bruce Carter - he is the stadium manager and does a great job.

If you know the Vets you would know a few of the players: BP Huynh (12 in Vic), Brian Berry (13 in Vic), John Pattison, Jim Kilderry, me. Some strong younger players include Michael Huang (about 14 in Victoria but hasn't paid his rego so is off the list), Duncan Tu and Chris Yap.

Yes Phil and I played. Phil did ok and made a few semis. I won the Over 40s beating BP and BB along the way. I lost to BP in the 1/4ers of the Open.
