Hi,

the online registration appears to be up and running (although I don't think the e-shop is available for payments yet, unless it is hidden on the website somewhere). SWIFT payments can be made instead.

I plan to go. Works out well for me because my mother-in-law lives in Auckland so I can say I visited her (and not actually spend any time with her). Heh heh.

Can anyone answer this question for me please. Established player but never been involved in World veterans champs before. Do you have to be endorsed by your association/country or can anyone register to participate? Thanks.

As long as you are affliated some some Country or Origin TT Association, so you can't play if you are from NZ and don't belong to a TT Association for example

action as in picking up a chick? anyone who belongs to their Countries association is all that is required I believe (actually Im even unsure on that aspect but I know Kiwi's can't enter without already being a regestered player somewhere here already

, but no level is required, see even PWR and poor_knight are playing so you should be ok lol

By action I mean it is not a single elimination format, would like a lot of matches even if I am in over my head.

So you are saying you just have to be a member of USATT if you live in the USA and that you do not have to win or place in a national tournament?

For teams event you usually have to qualify and be chosen by your own association, who set the criteria on elligibility as well.

I believe for individual events you only need to be registered with your association.

Thanks for that Rodderz! :)
In Sweden, there were no team events - only individuals. In singles, played in a group of 4, top 2 went into one elimination group, bottom 2 another elimination group.
