Id guess you have to play a certain amount of junior tournaments in Queensland and then they choose the team based on who scored the most points. That's how it works in Victoria but the QLD website doesn't seem to have any info about how it goes down up there.

Would need to gain the eyes of the Qld Jnr Selectors I would think. That would occur like Foam said, through tournaments and showing winning ability and talent, and probably building some kind of points collection.

YES, I agree with both Foam and RebornTTEvnglist! It would be necessary to gain attention from the selectors aswell as getting a certain amount of points. :^)

your own age events are the most important, say for example in under 13/15 or 18
so you are selected against your peers in you age group

Hi Rubbergirl,

I somehow thought you would be wanting to represent NSW. :(

Go to the Queensland Table Tennis web site.

From the "About us" tab. choose "Constitution and By Laws".

From that page, choose "Selection Policy (Appendix 10)".

In that .pdf there are criteria to do with which tournaments are to be taken into account.

Elsewhere on the site there should be a listing of who is on the Junior Selection panel, or if not you should be able to use the Contact Us facility to find out.
