| Post subject: | US Open in Grand Rapids |
Is anybody going to the US Open in Grand Rapids this year? I wasn't planning on it initially, but then my wife suggested that we take a short road trip that week to that area and that I could play in it if I wanted. The schedule of events wasn't the most convenient for my rating level (my "best" event is Tuesday afternoon, which I can't play). But I did find 3 events to play on Thursday (Over 30, Over 40, U-2250). So we're going to be driving in on Wednesday, I'll play on Thursday, and then we'll be exploring the Grand Rapids/Western Michigan area Friday and Saturday. If anybody from the forum is going to be there and playing Thursday, and wants to meet to have a hit, let me know! My events are at 9 am, 3 pm and 6 pm. |
