Every tuesday night we have a great league at the SMC club located in Woodbury New York, on Long Island. The first Tuesday night of each month, instead of a normal league, we run it as some kind of a tournament. Usually an open singles tournament. This coming Tuesday (October 7th) we are going to have an under 3600 2 person team tournament with cash prizes for the top 3 finishing teams. It will only be 10 dollars per player to enter. First place prize is 100, second place 50 and third place 20. Everything we do on Tuesday night uses USATT league ratings, if you do not have a league rating, we will use your USATT Tournament rating.

The first team to score 3 points against the other team will win. The order will be Singles, Singles, Doubles then singles and singles again if needed. The triangle club in North Carolina recently had this same tournament and some of our players went to compete in it. Our tournaments so far are non sanctioned and we only process league ratings which are completely separate from your USATT tournament rating. Please check out our website and sign up for the mailing list, we send out emails about upcoming tournaments. Also the calendar page is very useful, sometimes our Friday hours change or we do not have use of the Gym, i will always update the calendar page as soon as i find out of any changes. Take a look at our league page also to see players that have been to SMC for the league.
