I'll be at Vets on Saturday and Seniors on Monday. It's my first Open.

Nice to meet up at pennant yesterday, jeanc. Thanks for your kind offer to have a hit with a much lower ranked player! I'm sure I will learn a lot.

It was nice meeting you as well last night. I'm sure we will be able to have a hit soon enough!

Hey Hangdog,
You won a match, that's good effort. Congrats!

Thanks, jeanc. I was feeling a bit down about not progressing further, but it's a learning experience and I know it will eventually happen with time and training.

I appreciate the encouragement, and will see you at the Seniors event tomorrow!

It's not easy to win matches in tournaments, I'm sure you'll win more with training and experience.

I'll see you tomorrow @ Croydon

So you didn't play the Vets Jeanc?

Well done winning your match Hangdog. Would I be right that it was RD that you beat? Jeanc is right, it's not easy winning tourney matches. The more tourney's you play, does tend to make it a little easier, but never easy. So winning one in your first outing ('m assuming it is) is good.

It was ZQ I beat, after she had done some giant-killing of her own! AK knocked me out in the next stage, and eventually my doubles partner won over her in the Div. 5 final. I'm not sure whether I was too nervous, or not nervous enough…
