Yeah would be interesting to know if anyone is going :)

A load of our guys (and 1 gal!) are, look out for these names:

  • Andrew Wilkinson
  • Eddie Smith
  • Jim Stamas (originally from Oz, Melbourne if I remember correctly)
  • David Godbold
  • Dale Aitkenhead
  • Karen Henry

And undoubtedly some others that I've forgotten!

I have a several friends who are going. One of them is wheelchair olympic and world champion Anna-Carin Ahlqvist (competing in women 40-49 years). She uses Dornenglanz ox on FH and Keilar on BH. Then I know some male persons, one with Blitzchlag ox on BH (group 149 male 40-49).

I did enquire about entering last Feb but the cut off date was a few weeks earlier.
Next event is Las Vegas in 2 years.
28 players going from Ireland. A number where getting sessions with our resident coach.
Looks like the event of the year.
Wish all those competing the best of luck.

The venue has 150 tables and over 6,000 players have signed up to play across 7 days.

That's some tournament

White haired guy on left side plays with some sort of thumb-on-face grip - sort of like a Seemiller grip.

Nice style. I don't know Dave personally- have seen him post on some forums- but he has a nice style. Like many vets he appears hampered by mobility/knee issues a little.

One of my teammates had Craig Campbell (AUS) In his 60-64 group, and the pic I saw had him in Aus colours with a TTedge logo/sponsorship. Anyone on here know him?

Yip, Craig Campbell plays in Western Australia - Australian 050 champion, great player, very clever.
