I'm not sure if I agree with you about the anomalies though. I think it's human nature to feel that one's true rating is when one is playing best, whereas in reality it's more like the average of your good and bad games, including both the good and bad 'anomalies'. That would probably put in the low 2000's, which seems to be a fair indication of your current level anyway.
Considering you've only been playing with LPs a short time, I think you've got a lot of potential to reach much higher, by taking further advantage of the strategies that a combination player can use.
