I wish I could vote now but I still have to try the new ball. Change is good if for the better. But how do we know if its for the better or worse if we don't have materials for comparison. :)

I agree here. I don't think I'll knock till I've tried it, to borrow the rather cliche phrase...

I do think there should be another option: Undecided, until I've tested the new ball.

I understand that the issue of the ball change has more to do with ITTF's supposed uninformed and heavy-handed politics, but I can't make a vote based on words alone when I have no experience of the product.

Or have I missed the point of this online petition?

Should we formally submit the results of our petition to the ITTF now or leave it open to allow even more votes to accumulate?

Another bogus petition with bogus choices. This petition misses the point.

The point was that bogus information was put out about celluloid balls apparently with the idea in mind to skew the perceptions and make replacing it with a non-celluloid ball easier. I and many others have no problem with introducing a non-celluloid ball. In fact, the rules have allowed it for quite some time. The problem is the misinformation and its use as a springboard to eventually outlaw the celluloid ball before players have a chance to see if the new ball is good or not.
