Who writes the news stories for the ITTF because, To me it looks like the articles have been not written by a first language English speaking person, I'm not saying that it is bad but more strange to read these articles, some even feel like they have been translated.

I agree entirely. Without pretending I could do any better, I'm routinely appalled by the standard of journalism coming out of the ITTF. Like you, I've wondered whether it's an English as second language thing, but with the name Ian Marshall and living in the UK it seems unlikely. While lots of people have lots of complaints about the ITTF, this is the one thing that consistently bugs me. Wouldn't the ITTF be much better served by having a really good writer as their publications editor?

Yes I agree too... it should not take too much effort, and a good writer can be quite inspiring too.

Ian Marshall isn't a journalist, he's a PR person faux-reporting. You'll never see him objectively reporting anything controversial.
