I'm referring to a recent proposal to the ITTF about rasing the net height. I've heard a few people taking about this recently. The last thing I heard that there were looking into it, but certainly no decision had been made? Is there any recent news about this proposal? |

I am hoping for absolutely no news, none, nada, zero zilch. Maybe similar to ITTF's blazing headlines on the outgoing of the previous CEO, Judit Farago (sp?). Except for a small notice somewhere that it is not going to happen. |

Yes, I could not agree more!Trouble is, we need to keep a close eye on this, because if the ITTF has any plan to proceed with these, we need to make every effort to protest BEFORE it's announced, because after they announce it, history shows us that they'll never admit they made a mistake and change it. |

From memory the Swiss were looking into it and were going to measure something like how many shots would have hit the new net height in some tournaments via something like Hawkeye. Again this is purely from memory as I haven't looked it up where I saw it in either the ITTF AGM or Board minutes either this year or last. |
