OOAK Table Tennis Forum

This section is set aside for discussions between members/players, and their local or country association, and the ITTF. We seek constructive discussions about rules, management and promotion of our sport.

We will invite ITTF members, officials from local/country association and other officials, and encourage them to participate. Please help and invite others that you think can contribute to the discussions. We already have people here with highly technical knowledge of the equipment and the game, so I'm sure they can offer valuable tips in some of the discussion here.

As is customary in the OOAK forum, we like to give all new members a warm welcome, and encourage everyone to treat each other with respect, and keep discussions friendly and constructive.

To help keep things organised here, and to make it clear WHO the questions are directed to, I propose we start the post subject with whoever it's directed to. Although this should not stop others from answering it and participate in the discussion, it will at least make it clear to those official that choose to participate, which threads are specifically directed that them.

For example:

ITTF: What is the reason for rule 123?
TT Australia: Why did you decide to join this forum ( )?
ALL: How to keep this section organised ( )?

I think I should also delete any comments not directly related to the topic in question... I think in the rest of the forum this is not a problem, but in this section, if we want to make it look professional and worthwhile for official that accept our invitation to participate, the threads need to be tidy and organised...
