18¥ =6pcs. 1 star | 44¥ =6pcs 3 star

Totally favourable feedback from the domestic china users/buyers (joyfull ball feeling much similar to the celluloid,, longer rallies, better accuracy in the ball placement ).

XU SHAOFA seamless species have came out rather a success.
No patent quarrels with Dr. Kuhn shall ever occur, as the XS's plastic chemical formulation is exlusively owned by the developer and thus Mr. Kunh can never ask for any money remuniration. Never...

Again, You're sure to love the XS's ball performance which proved factually to be much like that of celluloid, and the bulk prices is going to be dropping down with time.

And the ball does not rattle any more, to surprise me happily.

Please provide your source for these "observations", particularly this one

"Totally favourable feedback from the domestic china users/buyers (joyfull ball feeling much similar to the celluloid,, longer rallies, better accuracy in the ball placement )."

The use of "totally" suggests no one preferred the celluloid ball. And what does "much similar mean" - has someone scientifically compared the performance of these balls with the current celluloid ones and defined in their study what constitutes "much similar".

I can't quite understand how a "much similar ball" = "longer rallies, better accuracy in the ball placement " If they are "much similar" they should = the same rallies, the same accuracy". These statements are contradictory which makes me doubt your assertions.

Questions for Adham please:

The ITTF's own requirments for the performance of the ball - The Ball (Version for 40mm Balls) Technical Leaflet T3 says:

"The ITTF Equipment Committee will support balls with a playing performance similar or identical to that of celluloid balls. We are aware that some of the specifications given in this Technical Leaflet can be met only with difficulty by non-celluloid balls. The Committee is prepared to accept a compromise which makes an approval possible if the playing characteristics are similar or identical to those of currently approved balls."

1. Will any plastic balls the ITTF authorise comply with this requirement - playing characteristics are similar or "identical" to those of currently approved balls?
2. How does the ITTF define playing characteristics - emphasis on "playing" not static tests
3. What tests are the ITTF conducting to on the new plastic balls - hopefully not just a simple bounce test from 30cm!
4. What are the tolerances the ITTF allow when testing for "playing characteristics" when considering if the new plastic balls are "similar or identical"
5. How many manufacturers have currently submitted plastic balls for testing by the ITTF
6. How long will it take for the ITTF to make a decision as to whether the submitted balls pass the ITTF tests and will be authorised

Thank you
