I've been wondering about the Giant Dragon brand. There seems to be some connection to Thailand - I've seen inexpensive Giant Dragon premades in Chiang Mai bookstores. The club where Brett plays is called the Giant Dragon training center. If you search Google Maps you'll find another "Giant Dragon Table Tennis Training" near the town of Uttaradit (about 2/3 of the way towards Chiang Mai from Bangkok. You DON'T see any of their stuff on Chinese web sites (though I suspect most of their rubber, at least, is OEMed in China) but it's available in Europe. Hmmmm...

As I talked to them a few years ago concerning this issue, I can tell you that they do no buisiness in China or the Asian market. They told me, they only their goods to overseas. Why they do so I do not know......

So if they don't change their company policy you won't find them in China. :(

Perhaps someone else owns the trade name in China, so they can't use it within their own country.
I've noticed they've really ramped up their advertising in the last few years, and unfortunately their prices have gone up a lot as well. :(
