i see that this site sells alot of "national" and "provin." rubbers, as well as "limited edition" etc. i was just wondering if this site is safe, or do they sell fakes, or maybe you dont even get your items?

just made me curious since they had such a big supply of stuff

Presports is highly reputable and is quite reliable. For me I've ordered off them quite a bit in the past, and everytime I got my parcel within 2 weeks.

The special/Limited stuff I won't ever touch as its more of a marketing gimmick then anything else.

I ordered 999 National there. Reliable i would say so. But the rubber is slow slow slow. I glued it up as much as i can, its still too slow. The strong tack makes it even slower. Can't understand how Ma Lin could produce so much pressure with such a rubber. Maybe its his secret.

I've ordered there several times and had no problems. Good service and prompt shipment.

He doesn't. That's all marketing. From what I remember, he uses a Yasaka Extra with Mark V on FH. No idea what for RPB.

Well I know that's wrong. Ma Lin most definitely does not use Bryce for RPB. It's wrong for Joo Se Hyuk as well, since he's secretly been using TSP Curl, from what I've seen. Wang Hao's blade is wrong too, not sure about what rubber he uses.

Actually, Ma Lin does use Bryce on the reverse and he certainly does not use Mark V on the FH. He used to use 999, but lately you can occasionally catch a glimpse of the Skyline 2 stamp.

Wang Hao does indeed use sriver.

I find it kinda hard to believe that he's really using Skyline. His technique nowadays really doesn't look like it's well suited to a slow Chinese rubber. Him using Bryce strikes me as odd, too, since I would think that the sponge would be too hard for the way he RPBs.

The Bryce sponge isn't hard, it's the topsheet that's hard.

Also, mind you, the Skyline 2 he gets is probably nothing like the Skyline 2 we get.

Silver's right about the Bryce, the biggest problem comes from the topsheet which is quite hard. Takes a hell of a fast swing to get some spin going, which isn't a problem for Ma Lin.

besides, Ma Lin pretty much only ever uses his reverse bh to kill the ball.

they usually use a chinese rubber for their forehand. on their backhand(if there is any) they put a european rubber.
