Sad I will miss ordering BTY from them, getting cheaper, genuine, and new(not sitting in stock forever somewhere) Butterfly products. :(

That's a real shame... it was one of the few that still shipped to AU and USA. I've never used them though, but know quite a few friends that do.

I'm not surprised by it, and I suspect they had no choice can can't be blamed... if Butterfly Japan tells them "stop selling overseas or we'll stop supplying you", there is little they can do. :(

Butterfly stinks. Adham Sharara may be the most evil, corrupt and destructive force in table tennis, but price gouging, anti-free enterprise Butterfly dictator Shunsaku Yamada and long pips bigot Eberhard Schoeler are tied for a close second.

Sad. They stopped shipping BTY to the UK/Europe a year or so ago and my last remaining friendly supplier http://ta-q.jp/en/index.html stopped shipping at the end of March. TeesSport in the UK want £64.99 for T80-FX compared with just under £40 equiv at ta-q or tt-japan etc. Daylight robbery!

That does seem quite high, although I'm not sure if it's fair to compare to the Japanese prices, as their costs to buy in the rubbers is likely significantly higher too.

Tees-sport like to use the reference pricing technique. I'm pretty sure they will drop the price to to £49.99 (the same price they sell the rest of the Tenergy series) after it has been made available for 28 consecutive days at £64.99. They would be in breach of UK pricing practices if they advertise it as 'Was £64.99 Now £49.99' if it was never for sale at the higher price for at least a month.

Maybe there's some sort of trend here. Don't know why, but I can no longer order anything from McMaster Carr - they refuse to ship outside the US, and will refuse to ship to a shipping consolidator even.
