Hey guys, Steve from Tropic Table Tennis here. Our team has been involved in commerce for awhile and we just got started in table tennis a few months ago. We put in a lot of work with the site and just wanted to let you guys know about it. Update: The did the right thing and issued me a full refund, thanks for the great customer service in the end. Well I hate to do this but I'm going to leave this here and see how they respond to a new customer. Here is my issue. I ordered a Butteryfly Amicus Professional Robot and Some Practice balls from Tropic Table Tennis. items were shown as in stock. I receive an email from Steve and he stated that the item was back ordered and the ETA was Feb 20th, 2016. I waited until the next day and managed to find the same item instock at another store so I contacted them about cancelling my order. They want to charge me 4% fee for an item that they showed instock but didn't have in stock. I wouldn't be a big deal if the item wasn't an such expensive item, but I feel it's unreasonable and unethical to charge me $81.60 for something they are the cause of. If they had the item and I didn't have to wait for it for a month I wouldn't have even considered changing or canceling my order. Their website also states that I can cancel the order on back ordered items with no additional charges. (see attached picture). I'll be happy to revise my post here if the issued is resolved.

TTT, Do you actually carry stock or are you a middleman taking orders and sending that to other companies? That might explain why you did not know it was out of stock and backordered? |

I will say after having a few emails back and forth that they did the right thing and issued me a full refund. I would count them as a stand up place and prioritize their customers as coming first. I'll for sure check them out for some of my future Table Tennis Needs. |

Hello All - can anyone comment whether Tropic Tabble Tennis is a real store or just a concept ? In the past week I have called them 3 times and emailed / messaged twice and I am yet to hear back from them. Please advise if I should try connecting with them further or make my purchase from some place else. Thanks in advance. |
