Silver, thanks for the warning. I was not even aware of that as I took for granted that there is that 'lock' symbol last time. I suppose that means no order from them till they sort this out :cry:

I ordered my rubbers from iruiru on the 5th of May, received them this morning (12th) - so about a week.

That said, I've ordered several items from them over the years, and the only problem I ever had was when they accidentally sent me an extra blade - took a while to sort out shipping it back due to the language difficulty. But they were polite and willing to help get things straightened out.

So on the whole, I'm happy to get my Butterfly stuff from them instead of paying the prices charged by Australian dealers.

They said the SSL Encryption will be back in June.

Since my last two or three orders, I did not fill in the order form, I just communicate by e-mail, and when I wrote them that I confirmed the order,they just sent me the blade, and so far there is no problem.They said I don't have to fill in the order form because they have my data as a repeating buyer. What do you think about this, is it more dangerous for me ?

Yes, because as a business they should NOT be retaining customer credit card information after the transaction.

No, because it means you don't need to retransmit your details.

I love iruiru and have had no issue dealing with them, but I think it's totally irresponsible of them not to inform their customers about the fact that their order form no longer has encryption protection. They should also provide alternative methods of providing payment details. Given that they are a popular TT shop, the amount of fraud that could potentially occur from the lack of encryption protection is just massive. :evil: :evil: :evil:

I emailed them about it, suggesting fax as an alternative way of informing them the CC details. They replied within an hour and it was an acceptable reply in my view. They did not say anything about providing warning to potential customers or when encryption protection will return as I did not raise these 2 issues specifically in my email to them.
