has anyone who has had successful dealings with iruiru got an email address that I can use that is not the general e-staff@ one? I need the addy of someone who will answer emails and understand enough basic english to do a 'can you tell me what is happening to my order and have any of the credit card numbers worked and if not why not' email?? Getting kinda desperate...

actually cancel that. I'm getting the blade from the Italian zeropong. Email answered within a coupla hours. More pricey than iruiru but none of the uncertainty with several sets of card numbers floating around the internet. Not impressed with iruiru at all.

I had excellent experiences with iruiru, so I am surprised that you don't like them. I bought more than 5 times, and I must say that I am always a fussy customer. Anyhow, just in case you need it in future, you can send e-mail to [email protected].

Perhaps it should be changed to [email protected] now. I heard that Ms or Mr Masuda replaced Suzuki.

I've ordered there quite a few times as well, and they've always been very helpful with emails and have gotten the transactions right the first time. I was startled to hear your situation, as it really didn't sound typical of them at all.

Perhaps it happened on the transition period from Suzuki to Masuda ?

That's a good point, aeoliah. Maybe a lower level employee there had trouble working out the transaction without the help of Suzuki.

Did you see the Darker blade that Speaquinox had sent out from Iruiru? Had splinters raised all against the handle. Another transitional problem perhaps?

I think that would be more a problem caused by Darker and not Iruiru, though I guess you could blame Iruiru some just for not checking the blade over thoroughly.

Both Darker and Iruiru share the responsibility, but the final point of sale passed through Iruiru, so they should've done better final inspection. Anyway, I trust that they'll sort out their recent hickups quickly.

On a related topic, I had a good experience doing business with a company called Presports in Malaysia who have a pretty extensive product line, including many items not sold in the US.

It's another option.

I had an email appologising. I'll not rule them out for the future, but I prefer dealing with people like Haggisv, cole, or the italian zeropong... faces rather than faceless...

Thats a really good point you make Julian. Dealing with places that you have confidence in "doing the right thing" is worth quite a bit. I got stung a couple of times in ebay purchases (long stories), but one of them was from a big chinese ebay company doing thousands of transaction. Product I bought from them was never sent to me, and even though I paid by paypal and started a claim, they insisted they would do the right thing and I let the claim go. They strung me along for a few months more and by the time they no longer replied I couldn't even access the purchase to leave negative feedback. Most people I've dealt with on e-bay have done the right thing, but there is more comfort involved in dealing with someone like Haggisv or Rob, who run forums here in Oz. If all e-bat dealers ran forums for their shops there wouldn't be hardly any shonky dealers I think, as the forum would put them out of business! E-bay feedback speaks a lot less than the volumes spoken on a forum.

I have communicated bvia email with both iruiru and presports, and I like the response. Iruiru has been constantly mentioned on this forum and on a couple of other forums as well, that I am a member of. So, while there can be exceptions, I am inclined to believe that they are also pretty reliable and can be trusted to not rip people off.

They are also not very good with English and say so on the website.

Presports in malaysia also has been mentioned by several people and so I would probably not have a problem ordering from them either.

There is a third site that I also communicated with via email when I was shopping for prices etc and the url is given belo along with the email I used. They were also referred to me by someone else.

www.ping-pong.tw

The guys name is Tony Hsu and the email is:
