New member, not new player ;)

Same thing on MyTT, once new member signs up, we all think he might be new in the game.

I do think we have more than average number of long pimple playing here.

For those that don't like playing against them, it's a excellent place to learn how to play against them... we've got several thread on this.

Hello everyone

My name is Trevor, I'm 53 and play my table tennis in Milton Keynes UK.
I have played a conventional topspin game since i was 15 or so (with about 20 years or so away from the game), and i used to really really hate playing against the long pimpled and antispin awkward squad.

NOW, I have dipped my toe into the dark murky waters of Anti spin. For about a month ive been trying various anti spin rubbers and since I'm an EJ i still have a few more to try out.

I've read loads of the posts on here and have at last registered to become a member.

Welcome to the forum miem88. We have quite a few members here from Indonesia. The forum is of course mainly about discussing table tennis, but you may be interested in starting a thread in the suppliers section for any discussions or information you would like to put out there regarding your TT business.

Hello everyone,
I'm brand new to this forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I am just getting going in "serious" table tennis, although I have played recreationally for a few years. At this point I would consider myself a fairly all-around styled player, but I feel myself becoming more of a modern defender. I actually came across this forum by searching on how to make a blade, but I quickly found myself fascinated by all the other intriguing topics on the site. Hopefully I'll be able to contribute to some more stimulating discussion here! :D

My name is Steve, and I live in central NC. I am 62 years old and have been playing tournament tt since the late 60's. For most of my playing career, I was an inverted looper, but a few years ago, after a layoff, I started with hardbat, and now I play almost exclusively hardbat, although most of my play is against sponge players.

Mi name is Jorge and i'm from Chile although i started playing when i was 11 at school and follow through high school i was always a recreational hardbat player. Back then, i'm 40 years now, i didn't even know there was "sponged rubber", in fact i just knew about it when i was at university and there was this University table tennis club testing players from new students, so i went and not only i was overwhelmed for the paddles these guys used but so completely outgunned and outplayed by their game that i quit the sport forever :D :D :D :D :D . Till a couple of years ago, when i met a colleague at work who, by strange stroke of fate, also played in that university club XD, we talked about TT and he offered himself to give me some coaching.
Now i wonder if it's too late to learn "proper" table tennis.
