I purchased a blade from Dandoy Sports and they sent me the wrong one.
I emailed them and because i had no response i then called them and spoke with the owner. He said he would look into it and get back to me.
I have emailed him several times again and there is no response and no answer to my emails. I can see that he does not want to deal with it and send me the correct blade.

Anyone had problems with this company.

BTW-I have purchased quite a number of items from him before and there were no issues.

How could these kind of problems occur so frequently!?

You'd be better off buying from OOAK or AffordableTT, who never screw up your orders, but if you were to, they'd rectify their mistake for sure.

Dandoy might be cheap, but bad service by the looks of it.

Yep, Dandoy doesn't provide any service whatsoever.
Many retailers in the Netherlands have had problems with them to.

Did you check on other sites such as AffordableTT or OOAK if they had it?

Yes i have tried to find the rubbers in Australia , but they were not available.
Wont be using them again. Its disgraceful

I won't buy from Dandoy anymore either. One of their little tricks is to charge your credit card even though the thing you have ordered is on indefinite back-order. They do not tell you this, and who knows when they will actually ship it?

I would like to put in a good word for megaspin.net. I have had very good service from them.

Here is my recent experience...

I ordered a blade from Dandoy that I couldn't find anywhere else, also was about 10% cheaper. This is before I saw the posts here. The next day got a message that it was out of stock and would be a 4-5 delay. Did not return my email asking for more info. 4 days later I got an email saying it was shipped and would take 5-7 days to receive. 6 days later (today) I received the blade as ordered. For me, not too bad of an experience but not the best either.

Dandoy have a great reputation, an amazing reputation and a wonderful reputation...............for being lousy.
As many have already said go for OOAK shop and you can also go for presports, iruiru and Tony Hsu's I love pingpong shop.

I met a lot of problems with Dandoy in the past and never order any more

Maybe I am going off on a limb here and it probably is not the business of this or any other forum anyway. But I think just was we tend to give people advice on equipment, brands, etc. I think it is a very clear situation now with regards to Dandoy. Sure, some people are able to get what they ordered, some on time, some after a delay, but the majority it seems, or if not the majority, a sizable number of people end up getting screwed. Now it may be that the company is not deceitful, but just very bad at doing business. Either way, the buyer gets screwed.

I have said it before, and I am going to repeat it. No matter how cheap Dandoy is, it is not worth the risk of losing your money.

If you stick to a list that includes OOAK shop, iruiru, presports, ttarmory, zeropong, tony hsu's i love pingpong shop, affordable tabletennis, colestt, ppgear, americanhinoki.....you are sure to find what you need, even if it may be a bit more expensive than Dandoy. But you will be sure to get your order.

I am sure there are a few more reliable names out there that are widely recommended and vouched for. Stay with such names. Say No to Dandoy!
