Hmm, similar concept to badminton racket head shapes (oval vs. isometric)...

The Balde with thees shape have more speed then Blades in a normal shape.

Also you can get more rotation to the frontside Topspin. The Shape had a patent in Germany.

At the next steps i will make a ALL Blade ore a Def Blade in the same shape.

Best regard Uli

For the last 15 years until recently, I have always cut down my blades to what some might consider to be a slightly less pointed version of your shape. I found that they always seemed to have more of a crisp ping sound than other blades of the same type. Do yours have a different tone to ones of a similar construction but made in a more standard shape?

sorry i dont understand everything in your post - my english is not in user :o

Yes i had a blade in the same construction, but in a normal shape. The normale shape is slower and the sond is a litle bit higher.

The shape is optimized at the university of Bochum at the faculty of matemathic and the institute of mechanics. The shape is optimized by a ex national coach of the DSR, how has coach the german team at Athlanta.

yeah, looks logical, since you don't use the "fatter" part that's trimmed in the new design, but rather in the middle or the outer edges (that's not trimmed from the new design).

But esthetically, it looks kind of ugly? I'm willing to try it out, though, to see if it lives up to its claim. Who knows, I might beat William Henzell with it.

Why not if it's heavy enough. But you should better sneak unobtrusively from behind. :)
