A person now employed in rubber-material industry has told me very interesting things about the tensor rubbers.
--- All the playing excellences inherent in tensors are solely due to the "pressurized sponge" known under various labels -- SpringSponge. TensorSponge, PowerSponge, etc.
Pressurized sponge is none a revolutionary material and can be found in everyday life as well (e.g. in vehicle seats).
---- Contrary to popular notice, NO technological stretching on the top sheet takes place in tensor production process.
---- All the pressurized sponges are featuring a specific micro-cell structure. Each single "call" is tightly insulated from all the others and is working likewise a tiny rubber ball. Once you let the air out of the cell, say by applying a plenty of drastic solvent, the sponge is sure to partly lose its orginal catapultive efficiency and speed.
-- In a year or two most manufacturerrs will be able to closely reproduce Butterfly`s sponge technology and will mill out Tenergy clones as cheap as at USD 15-20.

Thanks igorponger, very interesting...

Not sure if i agree with your last line though... Tensors have been out for a long time, and no othe manufacturer could produce it closely... and the price continues to rise...

i think igorponger is correct

The foam material inside most cars is always pretty good at retaining its form. Even after 20+ years (I have an 87 suora that the seats are still good).

Somebody forgot to tell Haifu. Their Blue Whale III (factory tuned, National version) is selling for about $85. That's got to be a record high price for a Chinese rubber!

and this is only my personal opinion.

With the hit or miss nature of the quality control/assurance. I would pay a most of $15 after being bit one to many times.

I can't blame you, that's a very poor experience!
