I'll be ordering some stuff from them and I was wondering if some can explain the whole procedure process. I'm a bit afraid after that last incident I had with another online shop :oops:

I always avoid Butterflyonline because of the price. Communication is not good either. I inquired for custom made blade several times and there is no reply whatsoever. Why not try iruiru.com ? They offer excellent service and price is cheaper.

I've contacted them many times already and none respond. I just want to know how the entire procedure works before I purchase anything.

If I don't get a reply to an inquiry before I make an order, I ask myself what will the seller be like once they do get my money and I have a question or problem! Before I bought from haggsiv I asked him a question and got a prompt helpful reply. If I hadn't I wouldn't have considered placing an order.

Hmm I placed a fake order to just test. It asks me to register for an account. Is this the "to bill" form? Another question is should the credit card user be the same name as the one you enter? I mean I will use my parent's credit card (given permission). Also is the information you enter the one where they will ship it too? Or will I be asked for another form?

I agree with haggisv and a few others here. Why would you even want to consider them after having been treated so shabbily? I know at times, silence is golden. BUT not when it comes to business enquiries. If you must have Butterfly products, try iruiru.com or other online stores that do sell them.

Everything they sell can be bought cheaper from other vendors. Everything. But they ship quickly, so I only use them when I convince myself that I need something in a hurry (which is never really the case, but sometimes I succumb to an EJ virus that takes this form).

Everyone is complaining not answer my main question... LOL :lol:

1. Go to the product page and other the items you want.
2. Click Add Cart and you will be directed to a page which summaries your cart.
3. Click Check Out and you will be directed to login/register page.
4. Register and Login (This is the step I'm stuck in. As I said before, I don't know if this page is for "Bill To" or Ship To)
5.????
6. Pay with Credit Card and waste crap
7. Wait for the damn package to arrive at your doorstep/local post office.

I have a couple of questions:
1. Is the name you enter in the register name in the Bill To section need to be the same with the credit card owner? Like I said I'm using someone else credit card.
2. Why are they asking your address and phone number if you live international?
3. Is there gonna be a ship to page? Or is the bill to and ship to the same.

I can 't speak for others but I'm not answering because I don't know the answer - Butterfly Online Do, and if you can't find the answers yourself on the F&Q page or shipping pages and they aren't replying to your emails or questions and you still want to buy from them after everything people on this forum have said, telephone them. Their contact page has a telephone number you can call. If it means an international call and you aren't prepared to do that, then I don't think it's a question of us not answering your questions, more you're not prepared to ask the right people. :wink:

1. Usually for security reasons, if it's for your first purchase from a seller, yes. The seller is usually required by the credit card company to only ship the first order to the same address as the card is registered to - if they don't and the transaction is later found to be fraudulent, the seller may be held liable for any loss by the credit card company. This is to stop people stealing a cards details and quickly ordering stuff which is delivered to an adddess the card holder knows nothing about so they may not even know their details have been stolen. After that first purchase, and assuming it went smoothly, the seller may give you the option to chose an alternative address. If you are unsure on this, ask your credit card provider for their advice on buying from Butterfly On Line.

2. They need your address otherwise they can't ship to you should you buy in the future. If you don't want to give it until you are ready to place an order, don't but look at it from their point of view. How do they know they aren't going to get ripped off if they don't have an address or phone number they can check against, how do they know you are genuine and the card is yours?

3. Visit their shipping page or FAQ - or phone them. Alternatively, start to place an order - the shipping page should come up before you confirm your order so you can see then. If you don't like the look of things of the order confirmation page comes up before the shipping page you want to look at, cancel out of the order without confirming it.

Personally, as haggisv has his own store and can look at things from the sellers point of view, I'd take his advice. If you want to keep trying to buy from Butterfly On Line then that is perfectly your right and I have never bought from them so I don't know what type of service they offer but don't be surprised if we don't answer the questions :lol: :roll:
