Just wondering if anybody has bought from this shop before? It seems I need to provide my passport number during the registration process. Not too keen to give such detail online so wondering if anybody had done so with them. Anybody had any problem buying from them in the past? How is their service?

Cheers.

Hi Fattchoi,

Madison is the most important shop in Barcelona. I've been there several times and I have to confess that they are not between my favourites. It's quite possible that they will treat you better online that going to the shop personally...but I can't see why they need your passport number. Here in Barcelona, they are famous for being too eager for money and not very kind.

Look, they make direct bussiness with Stiga and Andro, so if you want to purchase something from these brands they are probably the best contact in Spain.

However, if you are looking for some material from Butterfly, Joola and ibhar you can go here: http://www.zonatt.com
and if you are looking for some Chinese material please go here: http://www.casastm.com. Both shops are much more friendly than Madison, IMO. I'm sure than both can ship you what you need without asking you any of your numbers...or sizes

Best regards,

Q.-

Rok: I am also very skeptical on needing to provide passport or any other details more than the usual name and address. So I won't be using Madison.

Quelis: Thanks for the info. I am checking Zonatt out.

Cheers.

I've never heard of a site requiring a passport No... perhaps they're referring to some other type of online passport? I'm sure many people would not even have a passport!

It does  You need to enter an ID or Passport No. And I think the reason why is so that they can claim back the VAT or something for foreign buyer. If click on register, you would see in the form that it wants the ID/Passport No. I left that blank and it does not allow me to register. And if you choose 'Company', it would ask for ID/Vat No instead. Like I said, weird why it needs that as Dandoy don't need it at all to sell at ex-vat price.

As for Zonatt, I cannot register at all. It seems to keep telling me that my email address already exist. THAT IS SCARY because I never even known them before until Quelis post above. I can't be EJ-walking and bought stuff from them without knowing, can I :?: :P

Oh well, if only OOAK sells the stuff I want and I won't need to go through so much trouble  *hint* *hint* :P

Cheers.

 I was interested in the Joola Amy Anti Classic 1.0mm. Anyway, forget it. I have finally settled for the Donic Anti A40 from affordablett.com.au. It is local and I have used them before. Just like OOAK, very reliable service :D

Beer :?: no problem :D

Cheers.

Anyway Fattchoi, if you want me to contact Zona TT staff to ask them about your e-mail and to solve the problem just PM me. I'm sure they'll be more than happy to help.

quelis, thanks for your offer. Much appreciated :D But there is no need now as I have decided to go for the Donic Anti A40. When the Joola Amy is more widely available, I can always give them a try then.

Cheers.
