Hi Guys,

So I have spoken to Min who is currently back in Korea for a few months - and in Lieu of a video, is keen to get stuck in and answer your questions all things pimples.

Min is a LP OX player who plays a highly aggressive attacking game, using her pips as a weapon both in blocking and countering. She is now currently a 2x Time Australian Champion, beating Jian Fang Lay both years in a very convincing fashion.



As far as standard is concerned she's probably one of the higher level OX long pip players around in the world, a former Korean National Team member and very passionate about coaching and table tennis in general.

So Now - open field to you guys. I'm keen to gather a selection of questions to ask her, and we will work together to come back with a response that everyone can benefit from. In the future we hope to make some coaching videos and this interview is certainly a step to assist with the sort of things you would like to see!

Why does Min use pimples? How did she go down that path?

I am aware that Min came over to Australia at least a couple of times for the Bennelong Cup. Why did she end up immigrating to Australia, and why Queensland?

For completeness, I thought I'd add my question on why she sometimes blocks with a swiping action in one direction, while at other times in the opposite direction.

1. Does she ever serve with the pimples, and why?
2. Why does she play with long pimples? Does it cover a weakness, or is it her natural backhand, or something else?
3. Why in OX?

4. Do you mainly use the pimples to setup an attack with the inverted, or do you try and setup for an attack with the pimples as well?

Oh.. I thought she (I didn't know her gender) was one of those Koreans in the Nexy video... I should have noticed all those Aussie flags...
