anyone know if Czech/Slovakian player Vladamir Janci is still playing?

around 2002, he lived in West Aus for a few months.

pity the West Aus or National Federation could not have found him a sponsor, so he could have stayed longer.

as a player he was unreal to watch,he moved like a cat and his b/h technique was world-class.

he did'nt speak too much English but seemed like a real nice guy, only problem he liked to drink!

never forget the way he played in the semi-final of our State championship, was 3-0 up and 10-0 up in 4th. on penultimate point he feed his opponent an easy smash.

remember his opponent[top 25 ranked in Aus] saying to me straight after the match, nobody has ever beaten me like that before!

Vladamir's counter-lopping from both flanks in that match had to be seen to be believed.

that night he was on.think he lost around 13points in 4 games!

he won the final next day 4/1, but played only half as good.

sure he will be welcomed back to West Aus if interested in returning.
