Sorry, it's been awhile guys. I have been business enjoying bunches of success with DTT, and I want to thank some of your guys for purchasing Textbook Table Tennis

Since a vast majority of the people on this site play with pips I decided to make my first "Tip of the Week" about playing against choppers.

This is part 1 of a 3 part Series on different aspect of how to play against a chopper.

Sorry the quality is not in HD, youtube had a problem processing that video for 48 hours, so I made it a regular video. You can see the HD Video up on at the www.dynamictabletennis.com website some time this week. I did want to get this to you guys first.

Enjoy, Pacer

Speedplay

That is why I'm giving you the heads up. So you can have the jump start on how to deal with anybody that I have given this information to.

Or you can attack on them and disorient their entire mind state. LOL

This would be my choice, then you would be an attacker

Nice video Brian, covered all the basics easy to follow, nice demonstrations, all forehand though. Do you have any views on the role of the backhand against defenders or do you consider the forehand to be the main weapon.

Thanks for the great clear and no BS clip Brian,
I play a few choppers in our league and I try to incorporate what you have shown, great easy to use checklist you have put together.

Like antipip I would also like to know your view on the possible role a good BH can play against choppers. I can attack (flat kill ) well off both wings.

Yeah, ditto -- nice checklist. I'm looking forward to remembering those when I play!

This clip is not very explicit on how you should play a chopper. first of all because the "chopper" is very un-skilled. we can see that from the start, his forehand counters are just horrible. his backhand chops...so and so, nothing special, almost no spin on his chops, he lifts the ball to high on chops. If you really want to see how to play against a chopper this is the video you should watch:

Try learning from the best, you won't end up playing their level, but there are good chances you will pass the play level in the posted video above.

Cheers
