Hello Loopers, Choppers, and Blockers, etc

I haven’t been on here in awhile, and it’s because I have been in the laboratory cooking up more videos, and I have 2 new videos completed.

The first video is “Competition Table Tennis Training”, and it is the type of video that you guys will appreciate because most of you are competing in Leagues, or playing tournaments.

The video focuses on completing a “Training Cycle” that consist of 3 Training Phases that bring your game to the “Peak Performance Period”, when you will be playing to the best of your ability.

Phase 1 is “Activating the Technical System”, that improves stroke production, stroke chemistry, footwork, timing, hand speed, and defense.

Phase 2 is “Activating the Tactical System”, that improves your ability to create the correct pathway to applying the shots to your game that fits the way you think.

Phase 3 is “Activating the Strategic System”, and this is the Phase that primes your mental and emotional approach, by using your local club, low priority events, as well as tune-up events to reach the period where you are playing at the best of your ability.

Bonus Footage includes the, ”Brian Pace Testimonials and Split Screen Analysis of 2 Tournament Matches.

The link is not on the website yet, and I have already started taken orders, and anyone that makes an order up until July 1st for the “Downloadable Format” will get 20 minutes of footage from the 2009 Cary Cup.

The Price is $39.99

You can contact me at: [email protected]

You can look at a Total Review here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r77E_I-O ... annel_page

The next video that is out is the “Backhand Loop Workout, that is the first video in the “Train Smart Table Tennis Video Series. This video is a part of the DTT Green Program, that is for Direct Download Only.

The DTT "Train Smart Table Tennis Series" takes a specific skill, and dedicates the entire video to it.

This Backhand Loop Workout is a 1 hour, and 7 minute workout that addresses Building the Technical Stroke for the Backhand Loop, creating the correct tactical approach to playing the shot, as well as testing it's effectiveness in matches and tournaments.

Instead of skipping over some of the minor details of the Backhand Loop like some videos have done, this video spends a vast amount of time on every aspect of the "Backhand Loop" to ensure that you have a total understanding of what you need to do.

The goal of this video Series is to be more affordable, and more practical, and in this day and age everyone can appreciate that.

Because we have eliminated the cost of a DVD Disc, Disc Cover, Disc Insert, Disc and Label Equipment and Material, Postage/Shipping, and the fuel associated with travel, that savings gets passed onto the customer, YOU.

Again, if you order the “BH Loop Workout before July 1st”, you will get 20 minutes of footage from the 2009 Cary Cup for Free.

The cost of all the videos in the DTT Green Program is $15.00

You can look at the Total Review and a Snippet here:

You can email me at [email protected] to get an early copy before it goes on the website.

Best Wishes, and see you guys at the US Open.

Brian

Hi Brian, you've been very busy, so thanks for taking the time out to tell us how you're doing. :D

I'm particularly piqued by the first set of videos, could you elaborate on this? I think this kind of video could help people who self-train; while having a coach is best, it's not always the case for many to have one on hand every time they step in the club.

Also, basing on the descriptions, your approach to this particular topics is broad spectrum, yes?

Yuzuki

Sorry it took me to long to get back to you, I have been busy up to my ears.

I have broken down the Competition Table Tennis Training Video in 3 Segments, because those are the phases that we go through with regards to sports in General. Most players that have self-trained really can't pinpoint when they are going to play good, and they play good or bad and random times, and they are not sure how to control that dynamic.

The first thing to establish is the tournament that you want to play at your best, or the period that you want to be playing at your peak. That helps you establish a since of timing so that all your training is leading up to something. Imagine the Super Bowl Being your "Main Event".

The first Phase really lays the groundwork for having the proper technique, footwork, stroke supremacy, hand speed, etc. This is also the Phase where you can introduce new techniques or skills because it's the foundational Phase. You can train until you are happy with how all the shots are, or you can give yourself a time period. This is Similar to Training Camp to Reboot or Jump Start the System.

The second Phase not takes those shot, and start to apply a "Tactical Approach to how they should be playing in Game Situation Drills. This is where you can direct shots or sequences to certain places on the table. The goal is to become more aware of where you want the shots to be, and how you want them to work. This period is always the longest because there is so much to manage, when you add in the dynamic of short game, in and out of the table, and applying defense. This is the "Pre Season" period where you are trying to sort out things.

The third Phase not uses your local club, practice matches, and low priority events to fine-tune your Strategic Approach", mean how you have envision how you will respond when your tactical approach faces resistance. This is when things get lost in translation, because your mental toughness has to kick in. This is the actual Season where you are competing and facing resistance, and modifying your game as you see fit, and leading up to the "Big Event"

There are 28 Different Exercises that address taking yourself through a complete "Training Cycles", and I have to be honest in saying the the drill aren't an exact program for each and every player because their is such a vast range in styles. But based on the drills the players will be able to be intuitive enough to modify certain drills that fit their game, or the way they think. What can't be overlooked is going through the entire process to produce the "Peak Performance Period".

I hope this is enough information that helps answer your questions.

Best Wishes

Brian

Sounds like mostly drills. Would be nice if you could find a like-minded dedicated local player who would buy in and work with you on something like this. Then also you would both probably have to be double inverted or SP .
