Sounds really good, but It ultimately comes down to what the blade makers say.

I notice the following thread. According to this thread, the service has been provided by Sword since 2003:

oh..I think that I prefer to trust Sword's employee.

I don't know about the latter part from what Sword said they offered, but you could do hinoki for the attacking side. On a related topic, has anyone ever made/tried a two-ply blade? It seems like it would be interesting to have opposite sides with very different characteristics- great for combination bat users. If a two ply would work, hinoki-willow would be awesome for a modern defender.

Any suggestions on how to perform the following.

One side fast with soft outer layers for inverted rubbers, offensive game with great spin ability.

One side with extremely hard outer layer, but slow to be used with frictionless LP? For a blocking, chopping game?

People who've tried to make combination blades seem to find little difference as the total composition affects the speed and feel. You could just varnish one side and that would make the outer layer hard. Not sure how legal that is, but it seems that many top players do so.

The following paragraph is about wood types. 桐木 should be paulownia.
阿尤丝 should be ayous. My suggestion: getting an English version from Sword first.

Similar request from a person is in this thread:
http://www.swordtt.com/bbs/index.php?showtopic=2950

The person's request is:
Butterfly TAKSIM + Butterfly Kong Linghui

The Sword's employee mentioned that the structure of the blade would be:

The above structure should mean:
ayous + blue arylate carbon + ayous + paulownia + blue arylate carbon + hinoki

In this post, the employee also said that each side of a blade had effect on the other side of the blade:
