Hi, I'm a cpen player, basically a looper. I play two equipment setups, to use as stalking horses against each other. One is Butterfly Taksim, the other Chinese Real, currently with identical rubber. The Chinese Real, while more forgiving, is slower, and I am looking for another blade with speed more like the Taksim. Any suggestions?

I am guessing you are a "one-side" CPen player (no RPB)?
Chinese Real is good for close to the table play, traditional CPen play, probably not a looper's blade.
I haven't tried Taksim but here are some suggestions from this forum for Taksim substitute: viewtopic.php?t=15721&p=170131
Have you tried Yoshida Kaii?

BH: 729 802 2.1mm
Yoshida kaii is slower than taksim but has a lot of feel than the latter..imo stiga clipper classic might be a good choice if you want speed.
