I use a Chinese Traditiional grip with the occasional backhand loop. However, I have difficult executing a solid and consistent forehand loop against backspin with inverted. Any tips on things like timing, power, racket angle, speed etc.

This is actually a pretty hard questions to answer since we don't know exactly how you currently play.

Just a few tips:

1) start with your bat at your knee
2) stroke upwards
3) the bat face should be open
4) the incoming spin determines the stroke angle (lots of other things too!)
5) try to keep the rubber plane parallel to the stroke plane, that is, imagine that there is a solid flat wall of some gradient in front of your bat and you're running the bat along it.
6) Bend your back knee
7) Push off with your back knee to get extra lift

Thanks. WIll try it out. I'm a relatively new player so it will take me a while to get it.
It's a bit harder for penhold players as it is not very natural for us to swing so far.

Nice pointers Silver, the only thing I guess I can add here is that I try to make sure my stroke is as fast as possible, the up-swing. This is to ensure that I can impart the max possible topspin on the ball in the brief contact that I will be making with the ball. And when i can do that, I have managed to lift the lowest, the heaviest of under-spins and actually go on the attack.
