so,

look at this point: https://youtu.be/h4QXiH-8-ec?t=14s

this is what i am talking about that you can do only with gorilla or some other grippy anti...he pushed the ball on return of service like with inverted, and the opponent pushed the ball in the net, how heavy underspined it was...

Topspin serve and heave reversal. Gorilla is NOT grippy!

My gorilla sheet doesn't have enough grip to impart any real noticeable spin. Moreso than ones like diabolic or rhino, but nothing could that overcome any incoming spin such as pushing a pushing and keep back spin.

My coach who is also from India knows Sushmit very well and connected me with him so we had a brief phone conversation. Of course, I asked him about his equipment. He plays with Gorilla and Spectol 21 on forehand. He was using Donic Ovtcharov Carbospeed recently but is now trying Baum Carrera Senso.

Odd.to.play with spectol.21 on FH not easy to.control

Here a few more very recent videos from Sushmit taken from the Challenger Series with wins over good opponents in particular Robinot:

P.S.: For whatever reason I can't embed the first video of the match vs Robinot.

Note that these matches are played with ABS-ball (Stiga Perform if I am correctly informed). Also look how much more Sriram blocks with anti nowadays. He also hits against topspin a few times.

Actually what I was most impressed with was his fh. Absolutely incredible how he hits with it and how consistent he is. He must have also worked on his bh block because he blocks it short on many occasions which is incredibly difficult with Gorilla. Anybody who ever played with Gorilla knows how much practice and good hands that would require.

I suppose that Sriram change his blade from Inerforce zlc to Photino, Buterfly. There is a yellow ring at end on the handle on recent videos?

Maybe the gorilla is too high friction but I thought his backhand returns were pretty weak. Someone like manika Batea for example vs Kim song, she was really hammering those chops with the backhand punches using l.p..

what anti gives weird balls with passive strokes but not too hard to control?

Most modern frictionless anti does. Sriram's anti is a fast one, very difficult to control.
