Is Wu Yang classified as a classical defender? Even though as of late she seems to be attacking a bit more frequently (and even brought down Ding Ning!).

Just guessing here but from what I've seen compared to Koreans Park and Kim, Wu Yang plays just like Fan Ying and to certain extent most of the new chinese choppers who play with short pips on BH(Li Quan too)... they all attack well with the inverted fh in addition to chopping well...it's like they were all attacking players when they were younger and then later were told to chop with the bh...her fh separates her from Seo and just about anyone else...I'd call her a modern defender would tend to attack if given the choice...kim is more classic although in many of her final matches she used her fh to attack alot but I think shes more defensive and therefore classic...
