Hello Pimplers,

Today I come with a Long Pips OX player that I think was not mentioned here before: Derek Torres.

He is from Puerto Rico and, since 17 years old, he is in the Top 10 of his country, training with player as Adriana Diaz and some other high representatives from USA and Central América.

I made this video for analysing his game style, that I hope is useful for the Long Pips players in this forum or for the ones who want to understand how they works:

Please let me know your impressions about the technical aspects that I mentioned in the video and if you consider this kind of analysis are useful.

Regards.

A great match, and I love your analysis!

It's clear the long pips players is very skilled, and the opponent clearly has experience against long pimple play. Great to see him turn the match around. In my experience it's often the opposite, i.e. the long pips players wins the early matches, but the double inverted player slowly gets used to the pimples, winning the later sets.

Yes, this is truth. It use to happens the other way around. This is why also it gets so interesting for me how he reacted in front of an opponent with clear knowledge about pips.

Thanks always for your comments.

Regards.
