as i read from chinese news, he is on loan to levallois for 2 seasons. I think he's on the team but not on the A team anymore. He's getting married soon so probably we're not gonna see him playing anymore after he retire..

He's probably using some other rubber, but i dont think he use tenergy tho. Some of the shots and the way he roll the ball is characteristic of a tacky rubber. His stroke is noticeable different from joo se hyuk that use tenergy too, but who knows..

it sure looks like tenergy in that picture, and you can do sidespin hook shots like that with tenergy, but you are right....it is a charateristic of tacky rubber

probably spin art? or chinese topsheet on tenergy sponge? who knows, those pro player always have access to what they want, and left us drooling all the time -.-

Strange match! I think (1) he's not used to the level anymore, (2) he's injured or (3) he didn't care/the match didn't matter anymore.

I agree, it looked lke he didn't even care... But he also looked slow and a little heavier than when he and Joo had that incredible match a year ago (I think it was).

I think against a world top 10 player, he knew his goose was cooked. He is getting older and is not on that level anymore....too bad as he is one of my all time favorites.
