They both seem to think that the ball bounced on Xu Hui's side first... and when you watch the match, that's what it looked like to me too.

However, when you watch the replay from that angle, it looks to me like the ball hit Hou's side... so it should've been match point to Xu Hui.

Yes, I noticed that too. However, the replay can be an optical illusion. Surely the referees have seen it right.

You would hope so. Both referees, both players and the entire audience seemed to think it was Hou's point.

Looks like he is indeed playing the Victas Koji Matsushita, sharp observation Beeray! Apparently, VKM is popular for Chinese (short pips) choppers: Hou Yingchao, Ma Te, Wang Yang all used or use VKM. Also the Japanese SP chopper Muramatsu had a VKM for a while. And the famous Swedish Def-attack.

Haha! It is a nice blade, but Muramatsu uses VKM Offensive now ;). Where did you get i fo on Ma Te's blade BTW? And, again BTW, is he using SP?

I already tried it... these days i tried it with the poly ball and its more easy to play...

But I am not training a lot, so harder to play at good level like that.

I practice about twice a week, total of 4 hours I guess. It took less than 2 months, to move from FL II via 799 to 802. I am not at same level yet but not far from. Soon I will be better than before I believe. If you like SP and, like me, feel a little "wing clipped" with LP, just go for it. Great fun to be able to do more with the ball.
