Yeah, that's inverted alright. Remember: he started as a double inverted chopper when he was young.

If you find his full match video, pay attention to his BH - BH warm up stroke.. IMHO his BH stroke there wasn't exactly how you would hit with an inverted. I was thinking to myself it had to be some super spinny short pips on a thick sponge. I could be wrong of course.

That might be true. But in earlier matches, he would use his FH rubber (which was red), when warming up his BH.
