Idk, but i found that he entered in the game knowing that he lost the match...
Like, wow i will play with the chineses, the ones that will win the championship...
Same as the greek team, kreanga and gionis just looks like they didnt care about the match...

Yes, I agree: no fighting power. However, I remember a match he played against Xu Xin. He's not used to the amount of effect the Chinese can generate. That also explains his defeat.

You could not be more wrong. Koji Matsushita vs. Hiroshi Shibutani - both classical defenders and one of my favorite matches:

You can totally see that Matsushita used to be an attacker in this video.

Yes, he can hit through most peoples defense with that. Too bad you did not have a camera with you...

Good vid. Never saw that one before.

Matsushita is a special one among the classical defenders - if he already counts for one. But imagine a match between Chtchetinine and his twin brother. I don't see Chtchetinine bashing balls like that.

Chtchetinine vs. Hou Yingchao: The match starts at 139:15 in the video. There's also a doubles match halfway through the video between Samsonov/Nekhvedovich vs. Xu Xin/Hou Yingchao

Ugh I'm assuming JSM vs. Gionis wasn't a TV match? What a shame.
