This chinese-origin (I think) player has been around for a while. He has been ranked #39 at best (2005-2006) and is currently at #90. He plays a style that is somewhere between Hou and Chen W and when he has a good day he plays a very aggressive and entertaining modern defensive game with lots of side spins (more banana than Hou). But his FH attacks are very inconsistent as you can see in some of the matches.

Very fresh against another lp player:

Could it be Hurricane 3 with some special sponge? Apollo? I think the sheet looks like a tacky one, but I'm not sure.

i have looked at all the pics at that looks like purple sponge to me, also from different angles the topsheet seems tacky, it has a shine to it, tenergy rubbers don't shine like that in the light.

Lin Ju will be facing Wang Hao in the first ordinary round in WTTC. I am almost sure of two things - the match will be filmed and it will be short (but interesting) :).

Lin Ju plays a very entertaining game.. Had the opportunity to watch him several times in person. First time at the LA Open and again at the Baltimore Teams..
