They deffo look like SPs to me. Look at the bat angle he has to use at 2:22 against Ueda Jin, and how the ball comes off. He also has a lot of the symptoms of a SP chopper - if he doesn't get the right contact on the ball, i.e. not chopping with a long enough motion from his middle, the next ball is a fairly straightforward kill for his opponent regardless of how much spin they'd put on their previous shot.

He seems to have good serves in comparison to a lot of the defensive players. His forehand chop also gets killed an awful lot, I wonder if that's because he tries to vary the spin by floating a few which his opponents then pick and kill?

Thank you for the info. And welcome to the forum!
I am sure there are a few readers here at the forum that has a queastion or two about chinese players. For example, there is a young chinese defender Liu Yi, ranked at around 60 in the world for the moment. He does not compete very much. Do you know anything about him? He has his own thread here in the video section.

There are links to 6 of Liu Yi's 2019 US Open matches, and a paddle photo in this thread: https://ooakforum.com/viewtopic.php?f=6&t=36468
