I don't really care what he used. Now I don't even check my opponent rubbers. It's not about what the rubbers are.....it's about what my opponents do to the balls.
Just to throw a fun fact : In division 2A that I played, there were 7 LPs/choppers/blockers!!!!! That's a crazy number. Usually 3 is a lot.

Me and these 2

and this one: 1953

Plus Sumi Lee(2297), and a SP chopper (Wang, Biao - 2362 NY)
and Shtofmakher, Simon(2212)

By rating, I was the 2nd lowest one!!!! How crazy is that.

Last year I saw Dave at one of our club's satellite locations, and although we never introduced ourselves, I said "bye" and he said "bye" when he was leaving. 10 years ago at the club, he actually picked up a ball for me and said something anecdotal...Just before Baltimore this year, I had the honor of playing beside his table watching him drop short with his black lps.

Nice guy.

Last week at the club, Dave actually sat down and spoke with me about the match edit vs BH in baltimore and he did say that he broke his blade or something like that. He has a wealth of info to say the least and he was telling me about the Ontario Juniors, who's nice and who's not so nice etc and etc. There is a special training center for the juniors and he helps train them against pip players.

Then he showed me his rendler blade and he just like me just recently epoxied it. Boy he spread it on thick. And he said nice things about "oly" aka pushblocker while I showed him my Firewall Plus. He's a great guy!

FH: S&T Secret Flow 1mm
BH: S&T Monkey ox
Epoxied the pips? Which blade does he use?

He showed me a thick blade and said it was a Rendler blade, talked about how expensive it was. I believe it wasgiven to him to as a tester because he is a " great Canadian".

I'll get more info in the next two weeks during houseleague.

No he expoxied the edge of the blade and it looked like several layers, not like mine which was both thin. We both used the double tube dispenser that you have to mix...really messy and like oldmansouthpaw said it will dry fast so you will probably put on a few layers...

Just spoke to him in person on div1 night, tonight...

Out of respect for him, I'll just keep it short, as I am not a member of the paparazzi just an ooak member 8)

He uses a rendler blade that was customized for him and he prefers grass dtechs, like many here on the forum.
