I thinks it's the contrary: it's a short pip. It has some behaviours of a LP, though. It might be the P4 like DA mentioned...

He nearly beat Chuang, lost 11-9 in seventh :( . I would love to see that match, please let's hope someone filmed it  .

Another article:

Chuang mentioned that he had troubles reading Kang's spin. Could that be an indication that he uses SP perhaps?

I think it's a LP.
Never seen Korean choppers with SP.

100% long pips just by watching his bh chops. I've been testing sp chopping on bh and I can tell you there's not enough dwell time to do a monster chopping stroke like what he's doing all the time. With short pips you have to do controlled chops most of the time like Ding Song, Hou Yingchao, Fang Ying and Wu Yang.

...This previously-unknown chopper's success in beating Fang Bo and a near upset of CCY reinforces my belief that LPs is much more effective in chopping at world-class level for men than SPs. The other chopper in this tournament, Yuto Muramatsu, will have a very difficult time reaching higher levels if he sticks to short pips.

Until China figured him out and made a clone of him: then he's done. :( I think the best way for defenders to beat the Chinese (the rest of the world equals them) is to be with as many as they can and with different kind of variations (SP, LP, even anti for that matter + twiddlers + more offensive oriented/more defensive oriented).

Maybe. Winning gives physchological advantage.

If it's not sp and lp, maybe it is mp

psychological or physiological, Red Lion? :P

Too bad we can't put a bet on our forum. :( It would be quite advantageous for the winner of the bet.

Most often maches on table 1 and 2 (sometimes 3) are filmed by itTV. Some betting company (Bwin) migh be there to film another table.
