Alex Look at the picture i posted , its from this week in the german open...

See that the tag is really sort, and the spectrol or other SP from tsp have a bigger distance on the tag.

...you are correct. But the trajectory of the ball is VERY short pip like.

Whith this new ball I am really pushing diferent the ball, With p1r the ball dont pop up anymore if it is dead, looks like i am pushing with SP or the inverted....
Alex have you tried this new ball? or you recovering from the shoulder?

I'm back training again. I think my first tournament will be in June. Long recovery but the worst is over! I haven't quite come to grips with the new ball yet. Too much discrepancy between manufacturers. But it's not damaging my game to a noticeable degree. Yourself?

Great to hear you are recovering well. Don't forget your blog :up:.

About new balls... just be glad your injury was during this period of bad balls (that sounds more like an AC/DC song than TT :) ). Anyway, the latest versions of plastic seamed balls acts rather close to old celluloids.
