Today's round of 16' match against Liu Jia, pretty impressive if you ask me... Good ball placement and she seems to play with so much ease...

Ri Myong Sun went up to 27th position on the world rankings (june 2013)

Here's the full match at WTTC2013 against Liu Jia (1/8 final)

And full match 1/4 final against Ding Ning

Ri Myong Sun (WR29) at East Asian games last week. She's so good (and so cute). And she almost beat Zhu Yuling (WR5) in the semi-finals. Apart from the first, all sets were really thrilling...

Ahh, what irony -- a North Korean using a South Korean's blade made by a Japanese company and rubbers by a Japanese company. About as ridiculous as having American flags at a presidential rally made by China!

Is it also a problem for you that South Koreans play against North Koreans at the Olympics (which is about the only event in which PRK is allowed to participate)? Is it a problem for you that French people play against the German? Or that Chinese are playing with Japanese rubbers?

I do not see why sport (or sports equipment) should have to do something with politics or historical conflicts... On the contrary, sport has the capacity to unite people. Let's cheer for that instead of finding it ironic or ridiculous.

I'll never understand why defenders still use it in North Korea...
