Played this guy on sunday, he plays at my club (Destatec Swalmen).

Uses Dr. Neubauer Buffalo instead of ABS these days. Has a super weird light blade made of Balsa wood. Still same tornado on FH.
I managed a close game against him. He doesn't like to play against more passive players who force him to make the game.
Still relentlessly good placing and when he gets a chance kills it with the FH side.

Nice guy too. Gave me some pointers. Think it's the 3rd time he became club champion now..he won in 2007 and 2008, then left the club for a while, now he's back and wins in 2018

Serving illegally (right out of his hand) is uncalled for at that level. He's clearly drawing an unfair advantage from that tactic on his quick serves.

Hmm can't say i've noticed him serving out of hand at the club champs. Then again most people had no issues with his serve. Rather the anti spin blocks. He plays super close to the table and is capable of playing really disturbing short balls everytime.
